What's New

As 2023 comes to a close and we get ready to start a New Year it is time to look back and more importantly look forward to a new 2024.

December 31st, 2023 marks the end of our ninth year in business. It is amazing that 2024 will be our 10th year helping clients weave their dreams into family memories that will last a life time. The business has allowed us to create and experience some of our own memories. 2023 saw us:

  • Cruise the Danube from Budapest to Bucharest on an AmaWaterways River Cruise.

  • Spend time working from places like Hawaii, Arizona, and Mexico learning about opportunities that our clients will want to take advantage of.

  • Taking Michelle's Dad to Greece, Italy and golfing in Scotland to fulfill bucket list adventures he has been dreaming about his entire life.

  • One of our give back passions is helping Girl Scout groups organize travel experiences. In July, Michelle lead a group of Girl Scout to Puerto Rico

We are more than grateful for all of our clients. Our business would not have survived Covid without the amazing clients that entrust us with their dreams. You allow us to travel vicariously with you and you share your stories and adventures with friends and family. Your recommendations and endorsements continue to be a source of new business for us.

Speaking of new business, we are beyond excited for what Travel There and Back has planned for 2024. Here is a sample of just some of the things to look forward to

  • This Travel Thursdays blog/email will be a weekly series to keep you updated on what we are doing and what we see happening in the travel industry. You can sign up to receive Travel Thursdays on our web site.

  • Speaking of our web site, we spent November and December totally revamping the site and are excited to announce and share the new Travel There And Back web site with all of you. Please check it out, send us your feedback and share with your friends.

  • March will be a busy month for Travel There and Back. We return to the Danube River to explore the upper part of the river for more training and learning about the unique experience that river cruising is.

  • We have continued our partnership with Varsity Communications and will be at the Portland and Seattle Golf Shows as well as helping to sponsor shows in Indianapolis, Kansas City, St. Louis and Hartford Connecticut. You can learn more about the shows on our Golf page. We hope to see you in Seattle or Portland.

  • In November we are looking forward to hosting a group of friends on the Amacello as we experience the "Essence of Burgundy & Provence" France as we explore the wine regions along the Rhone River in southern France with AmaWaterways. Check out the web site or give Michelle a call to learn more.

  • Finally, 2024 will find Travel There and Back stepping up our presence on social media and invite you to join us on those platforms if you find yourself there.

As you can see 2024 will be an exciting time here at Travel There and Back. We are looking forward to weaving the dreams you share with us into memories that will last a lifetime.

River Cruise Travel

River Cruising is a unique and amazing experience that we look forward to sharing and teaching you about. It provides you with an opportunity to really immerse yourself in the culture of a country and region.

"An ocean will take you to a country, while a river takes you through the country."

Wine & Food Travel

When you immerse yourself in the culture and history of a location you stop being a tourist and become a traveler and explorer.  There is no better way to do that than sharing a meal or a bottle of wine with those you find at the next table.  It doesn't matter where you go, you will find a local bottle of wine, a great meal and we want to help you find it.

Golf Travel

It doesn't matter if you have known your golfing partner your entire life or just met on first tee. By the end of the round, you will be great friends and have shared stories of your life and travels. You can chase the little white ball around Scotland, Ireland, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii or just about anywhere you want to play. Tee it high and let it fly.
